Featuring replica of the H. L. Hunley submarine from the Civil War
The JEB Stuart Trust along with the 1st Regiment Kentucky Vol. Co E and the 21st North Carolina State Troops invite you to attend the 20th Annual Living History and Reenactment at Laurel Hill. Reenact history at the boyhood home of General J.E.B. Stuart.
Activities include Saturday night dance, music, lectures, Artillery, Cavalry and Infantry demonstrations. Sunday morning church service, and military demonstrations. Amenities include firewood, straw, and water. Confederate and civilian registration is $5 with children 12 and under free.
Registration deadline is September 1, 2010. Walk-on registration is $10. For units willing to galvanize federal 1 day registration is $2.50. A $25 bounty will be paid for the first 4 Federal infantry companies with 20 men, $150.00 bounty to the 1st battalion of federal troops that fields 100 men both days. Bounties of $100.00 each paid to the first 10 cannons registered. The battles of Brandy Station (cavalry only) and Dranesville will be held on Saturday followed by a lantern tour. The Sunday engagement will feature the action on Stony Ridge (2ndManassas campaign).
